'Twas the Day Before Christmas Eve......
......when, instead of doing all the million little chores I had planned, I decided to resurrect my blog!
Why not? It's only been EIGHT YEARS or so!
Oh, so much has changed in 8 years....I have so much to tell you! Love, loss, career change....all those fascinating adventures that make life so wonderful and interesting.
I'll be using this platform to help promote my business of the same name as my blog! When I started this, I was actually a hairdresser who curated and sold vintage items on the side. But, time marched, and I was blessed with the good fortune to make a big career change - I am now a metalsmith. Specifically, at this time I work in sterling silver and copper. I get to play with wire and fire (more on that in another blog), and it's lots of fun and burned fingers. I do art shows in Texas and sometimes, points beyond. In the process, I also became my own web developer, inventory specialist, marketing and public relations director, creative advisor and oh so much more.
I will leave you to prepare your own sacred celebration of the holiday with a promise to be back soon, to tell you more and share the journey and processes.
Pop by my Facebook and Instagram pages, and give me some likes and shares and mentions and all that good promotional stuff. As a woman-owned business consisting of ONE person, creating a made in Texas, made in the United States, totally original and handforged product, it is GREATLY appreciated!
Merry Christmas!
Indeed, it is........ ....you know.......
